SAN GABRIEL STORMWATER TANK

A unique project executed by the ECISA-RIEGOSA Consortium (a member of the J’hayber Group) commissioned by AGUAS DE ALICANTE with a budget of ten million euros. The works consisted of construction of a buried reinforced-concrete tank with a capacity of 60,000 m3 to collect the runoff from torrential rain that will then be sent for treatment at the San Gabriel WWTP.

J’hayber Instalaciones Deportivas built an 11-a-side football field with synthetic turf and a multi-sport court on the roof of this tank for the Consortium and integrated it into the urban environment, enabling public use of one of the largest hydraulic installations in the Province of Alicante.
